Governor Markell signed House Bill 227 into law on February 1, 2010. This law requires corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships that are practicing or offering to practice architecture in Delaware to obtain a certificate of authorization ( 24 Del. C. § 312A ) . To view the new legislation, click House Bill 227. BOARD FUNCTION: The Delaware Board of Architects (hereafter designated as "the Board") licenses architects. The Board ensures that applicants are qualified to become licensed and has the authority, among others, to discipline licensees. (24 Del. C., Chapter 3, § 301-317) To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
