HOW TO APPLY FOR A PSYCHOLOGY LICENSE BY RECIPROCITY

Submit:

  • Completed, signed and notarized application form
  • Pro-rated processing fee by check or money order made payable to the "State of Delaware."
  • Official transcript showing earned doctoral degree based on a program of studies which is psychological in content and specifically designed to train and prepare psychologists. The doctoral degree must be from college or university accredited by the United States Department of Education or by an accrediting agency recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation, or its successor.
  • Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) score report sent directly to the Board office from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB). To obtain a score report, see http://www.asppb.org/. The Board accepts a score of 70% or better, or, for examinations taken prior to 1992, the minimum passing score accepted by the Delaware Board in the year the examination was taken.
  • Verification of licensure in good standing from each state in which the applicant is (or has ever been) licensed, sent directly to the Board office from each state.
  • Affidavit of Employment form to verify that the applicant has practiced continuously for two (2) years.
