BOARD FUNCTION:
The Board of Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Professionals (hereafter designated as "the Board") regulates the practice of counseling for professional counselors of mental health, associate counselors of mental health and Chemical Dependency Professionals. The Board licenses qualified applicants; develops rules and regulations; and conducts disciplinary hearings and imposes disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. (24 Del. C., Chapter 30, § 3001-3019)
FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:
The Board meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 12:00
p.m. with the exception of July and December. All meetings
are open to the general public and are held in the
Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Blvd., Dover.
To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
- Completed, signed and notarized application form
- Fee payment
- All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
