BOARD FUNCTION:
The Board of Podiatry (hereinafter designated as "the Board") regulates the practice of podiatry. The Board licenses qualified individuals, formulates rules and regulations, and ensures that applicants meet minimum education, training and experience requirements. The Board conducts hearings and disciplines licensees. (24 Del. C., Chapter 5, § 501-520)
FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:
The Delaware Board of Podiatry meets the third or fourth Thursday of each month, at 5:00 p.m., with the exception of January, March, May, June, August, October and December. The meetings are open to the public and are held in the Cannon Building, Conference Room "B", 861 Silver Lake Boulevard, Dover, Delaware.
To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
- Completed, signed and notarized application form
- Fee payment, and
- All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
