All applicants must successfully complete a 15-hour Board-approved course to qualify for a certificate. See List of Approved Courses.

How to Apply for a Manufactured Home Inspector Certificate

Submit:

• Completed, signed and notarized application.
• Check or money order (non-refundable) made payable to “State of Delaware”. See Fee Schedule to determine the pro-rated fee.
• Verification that you have successfully passed certification course sent directly to the Board office from the course provider.
• If name is different on any submitted documents, a copy of a legal document showing name change.
• Current written statement, signed by your supervisor, verifying that you are a full-time, part-time or casual/seasonal employee of an authorized inspection agency.

When your application is complete, the Board will review it at the next scheduled Board meeting.
