NEW LEGISLATION: Governor Markell signed Senate Bill 118 into law on July 6, 2009. This law requires corporations
and partnerships that are practicing professional land surveying in Delaware to obtain a certificate of authorization. Forms and other

BOARD FUNCTION:
The Delaware Board of Professional Land Surveyors (hereafter
designated as "the Board") licenses professional
land surveyors
and land surveying partnerships/corporations. The Board ensures that applicants
are qualified to become licensed and has the authority
to discipline licensees.

FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:
The Board of Professional Land Surveyors meets the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m., with the exception of July and August. All meetings are open to the general public and held in the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Boulevard, Dover, Delaware.
To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Board office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
- Completed, signed and notarized application form
- Fee payment, and
- All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
