COMMITTEE FUNCTION:
The Committee of Dietetics/Nutrition (hereafter designated as "the Committee") regulates the certification process for professional dietitians/nutritionists and establishes minimum standards of education, experience and examination for these professionals. The Committee also creates rules and regulations, establishes the requirements for certification and imposes disciplinary sanctions, when necessary. (24 Del. C., Chapter 38, § 3801-3812)
FREQUENCY OF MEETINGS:
The Committee holds regularly scheduled business meetings at least once each quarter and at such other times as the chair deems necessary or at the request of a majority of Committee members. The meetings are open to the public and are held in the Cannon Building, 861 Silver Lake Boulevard, Dover.
To assure consideration of your license application at the next meeting, the Committee office must receive all of these items no later than 4:30 PM ten full working days before the meeting date:
- Completed, signed and notarized application form
- Fee payment, and
- All required supporting documentation (see “License Requirements” on the menu to your left).
