An applicant must contact the Professional Credentialing Testing Service at (888) 822-3272 to request an exam application or visit the testing service website at www.pcshq.com

Practice Testing:

Examination registrants may use the online practice testing system available from the National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology, Inc. (NIC). Test takers may log onto the NIC Website at www.nictesting.org and click on the practice link.

The National Interstate-Council (NIC) has assembled a listing of textbooks that are used to create the National Examination for Cosmetology and Barbering.
